Luna’s tattoo soprano pineapple ukulele takes its design from traditional Hawaiian body ornamentation. Through a scared inking process, designs were monochromatic. Patterns and layout were strongly geometric and there were many shapes and symbols which represented the natural island world (stones, waves, fish, sharks, turtles, rain, sun, and birds). This design is primarily based on waves and sharks teeth which are also echoed as fret markers. With an all eastern mahogany body and walnut fretboard, this soprano ukulele resonates with a warm tone.
